Abstract

In as much that I would like to argue with the conventional perceptions of the law, the novelty of the issue at hand compels me to innovate standards of understanding what is mistakenly taken for granted in order to give life to the constitution; to the meaning of marriage which primarily tackles the most essential civil and moral dimension of every individual’s existence.

For the purpose of this paper, I deeply believe that the common concepts even in the midst of conflicting ideas and principles to hold on with the important effects of marriage in the society are still unsettled. Do we just understand marital union as a duty, a right or a moral demand? Do we just base our conclusion premised from what are empirically observable about the changes on marriage ideals and acceptance?
